美国著名科幻、奇幻作家,二十世纪六七十年代科幻“新浪潮”运动的旗手之一。1937年生于美国俄亥俄州,1962年获得哥伦比亚大学文学硕士学位,同年开始科幻创作,在三十多年的创作生涯中,六次获得雨果奖、两次获得星云奖。

罗杰·泽拉兹尼的科幻小说语言精致、想象狂放,其主要代表作包括《不朽》和《光明王》等。

除了科幻小说外,泽拉兹尼还创作了大量奇幻小说,他善于将科幻设定引入奇幻创作,其代表作是十卷本的《安珀志》。
