白睿文（Michael Berry）,1974年出生于美国芝加哥,哥伦比亚大学现代中国文学与电影博士,现职加州大学圣巴巴拉分校东亚系副教授。主要研究领域为当代华语文学、电影、流行文化和翻译学。

著作包括Speaking in Images：Interviews with Contemporary Chinese Filmmakers（2005）,《痛史：现代中国文学与电影的历史创伤》（A HistoryofPain：Trauma in Modem Chinese Fiction and Film,2008）与《贾樟柯的故乡三部曲》XJiaZhangke’SHometown Trilogy．2009）。

中英译作包括王安忆《长恨歌》（The Song of Everlasting Sorrow,2007）、余华《活着》（To Live,2004）、叶兆言《一九三七年的爱情》（Nanjing 1937：A Love Story,2003）、张大春《我妹妹》与《野孩子》（Wild Kids：Two Novels About Growing Up,2000）。
